About Us

The Napoleon Hornbuckle Golf Scholarship was established in honor of Napoleon Hornbuckle, an accomplished business executive and avid golfer who was passionate about spreading the game of golf to young minority men and women.

Napoleon served on the Board of Directors for the National Minority Junior Golf Association, now known as the Bill Dickey Scholarship Association, and dedicated significant time and effort to ensuring that the association reached its fundraising goals.

In memory of Napoleon’s legacy, the Hornbuckle family has launched the Napoleon Hornbuckle Golf Scholarship, which aims to provide financial assistance to minority men and women seeking college-level education.

Our vision is to create a more equitable and inclusive society by promoting diversity in the sport of golf. We envision a future where every young golfer, regardless of their background, has access to the resources and opportunities they need to achieve their goals and make a positive impact on their communities.

To achieve this vision. the Napoleon Hornbuckle Golf Scholarship is guided by the values of excellence, integrity, and social justice.
